What People Say

"Victor has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We have just been kind of trudging along, keeping things duct taped and feeding the community. He has opened my eyes to see so much more and for that, I am beyond grateful."

“One of the best days of my life was meeting Victor. Victor came to my ranch, spent the better part of two hours talking about all kinds of things. Victor told me about NRCS and a number of the programs that might be beneficial. That meeting changed my life. And it certainly brought opportunities that I did not know existed."

Jim M. of South Carolina

Services

Farm Turnaround Team

The Farm Turnaround Team will meet at the kitchen table with family farm enterprises to help identify and correct deficiencies and inefficiencies in their land management operation, and provide short term and long term strategies for turning things around. Addressing these issues often occurs in isolation. The Farm Turnaround Team creates an environment where the farmer receives a comprehensive approach for managing the farm. Every aspect of the farm operation is represented at the table. If we can help the farmer become more productive, that can lead to increased profitability, which can decrease the stresses that lead to farm failures and land loss. Resource professionals in agriculture and forestry representing state, federal, university, nonprofit and the private sector comprise the Farm Turnaround Team. The team has not been launched in every state, contact us to learn more.
