Accepting Nominations for 2021 Farmer of the Year Issue

Each year Minority Landowner recognizes farmers, ranchers and forest landowners who are doing great work representing agriculture in their communities. We invite state and federal agriculture and forestry agencies, community-based organizations, university extension programs and others who formally or informally selected a 2021 Farmer of the Year to submit their producers for recognition in our annual Farmers of the Year Issue.

To submit your Farmer of the Year, click the button to the right and complete the Farmer of the Year Nomination Form. It is important that you include up to three high quality, high resolution, digital photos (preferably 300 dpi minimum) of your farmer with your nomination form. Return your nomination form and photos by November 30, 2021.

We ask that you inform your nominee that you are submitting their name, story, and photo for consideration of this recognition, and if selected they may be featured in our national print magazine, and or electronic media platforms.

You can view previous Farmers of the Year issues on the “Magazine” tab. Address questions to farmeroftheyear@minoritylandowner.com.
